Reading the Bible for the first time is quite an experience. Just the first few chapters of Genesis alone can create questions worth a lifetime of pondering. The Bible just… hits different. What is so different about the Bible?

Listed below are three important beliefs about the Bible. These beliefs are foundational to understanding why the Bible is different than other books.

  1. The Bible is inerrant.

  2. The Bible has integrity.

  3. The Bible is inspired by God. 

We will explore the way the Bible was written and organized in further chapters. For now, let’s examine the supernatural nature of the Bible - and the beliefs we must have to hear God speak to us from it.
